| Tell us briefly about your services or what you sell: | I teach classes and workshops on essential oils to empower people with the tools for their health at home. I also teach DIY workshops showing hands on natural swaps for cleaning and beauty products. |
| What inspired you to start your business? | My parents were sick my entire life. Which means I grow up quickly. Cooking dinners by the time I was nine for my six siblings, a paying job by the time I was 12. When I became a mom I wanted the best health possible for my girls and that expanded to wanting to teach others. |
| What problem does your business solve? | The overwhelm of not knowing where to start. All natural? Nontoxic? What all does that even mean and how does it directly impact my life? Most people know they need to take steps for better health but don’t know exactly how to do that |
| What daily habits contribute to your success? | Workout, meditate, journal, read something for my professional development, affirmations, visualizations, healthy Whole Foods, supplements, set a mission for the day and post in an accountability group and follow up |
| How do you stay motivated during tough times? | This is so much bigger than me. With the health crisis in American I literally feel I am fighting for others in a battle they don’t even know they are in. And for my daughters. I want to show up as a woman that may need time to regroup but I don’t give up |
| What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as an entrepreneur? | Treat this as a business and you will make business money, treat it as a hobby you will make hobby money. |
| What does success mean to you? | Never having to check my calendar or my bank account to make decisions. I can make them from my heart. |
