| Tell us briefly about your services or what you sell: | I am a lash technician and I sell many lash products for my clients and other lash artists, such as, lash trays, tweezers, lash shampoo, lash cluster kits, spoolies, sleep masks etc. |
| What inspired you to start your business? | Honestly I never thought I would be in the beauty industry until my ex best friend wanted us to start doing lashes together. Which I said yes because I thought it would be so cool and fun for us to be doing the same thing. Eventually I actually fell in love with it and started taking it serious and continued my education to esthetician school. It had become one of my passions now. |
| What problem does your business solve? | I feel that i enhance confidence and beauty, saving time on your morning routines because you will always wake up beautiful!! Lashes are also very low maintenance if you are keeping up with them, and also creating a relaxing self-care experience. |
| What daily habits contribute to your success? | Prioritizing my clients needs and experiences, Staying organized, Marketing and Social medias at the salon with all of the girls every 2 weeks, continuous learning (attending networking events and classes), and also the most important, i have many self care and mental days. |
| How do you stay motivated during tough times? | I just pray and keep pushing. I recently moved to a new city where I had to start ALL the way over. Being booked and busy everyday to having 1-5 clients a week can sometimes be discouraging, but I don’t let that stop me from pushing my business. Just like I gained clients before, I can gain them again. I always am surrounded by such amazing women at my shop @suiteone located in Duluth, Ga! Shout out to Kayla and Vivian for always supporting and promoting each and every girl in the salon. |
| What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received as an entrepreneur? | To not compare your journey to others. Everyone’s journey is always different. Watching someone else’s journey and success will always make you feel like you’re behind or you’re not doing good enough. I would say just to focus on your path and God will ALWAYS make sure everything will come to gather. |
| What does success mean to you? | Success in my lash business means building a thriving brand where clients feel confident, valued, and excited to return. It’s about achieving financial stability while maintaining creative freedom and work-life balance. True success isn’t just about packed appointment books, it’s about loyal clients, steady growth, and continuously improving my skills. It also means creating a positive impact, whether through exceptional service, mentoring others, or inspiring confidence in every person who walks through my doors. Ultimately, success is the ability to do what I love every day while building a business that supports my goals and lifestyle. |
